is the target exclusive optimis prime figure metal or plastic?
this is the 20 dollar figure that is an target exclusive.i have mone still sealed and since its an limited edtion it does not come out.it says on the box it has a supermetal finish but i really can’t tell by looking at it if its all plastic.
It’s plastic! This is but a variant of the “voyager” class figure that will see wide release–it just has a flashier paint job. And it’s not so exclusive because you can buy it from BigBadToyStore.com, though it costs more there. If you were hoping to cash in on this toy because of its supposed exclusivity, I think you wasted your money. In fact, if I were you I’d open it up and play with it. It’s not going to be worth more than you paid for it 50 years from now anyway. Besides, the leader class toys sell for more and they’ll draw more interest from collectors because of their higher price point and greater detailing. And if you want to buy metallic Transformers, your best bet is to buy Binaltech Transformers made by Takara, the Japanese distributor of the toys.
