How do you feel about the darker take on the Joker in the new Dark Knight Movie?
My best friend is higher disappointed he’s really into the Joker character from the comic book and the cartoon interpretation from the early 90’s Batman toon. He also thinks that Jack’s Joker from the 1989 movie was the perfect Joker! HE argues that Joker is a murderous sociopath that enjoys and has serious fun doing these things! So he feels the new Joker in the Dark Knight is far to serious and dark!!! What do u think?
I think we have to look at this from the director’s P.O.V he’s showing these characters in how they might exist in the real world. And to him someone like The Joker is just an absolute extreme in answer to the “rules” of society…and there are no rules. He’s asking to seperate all the other interpretations of The Joker from what we’re going to see on July 18th, and I think we’re going to be blown away.
